Thursday October 12, 2017: Welcome to Charlottesville!
For those of you who are able to make it to Charlottesville on Thursday, we will have a Welcome Dinner from 7pm-10pm at the Junction (421 Monticello Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22902, a Tex-Mex restaurant in the Belmont neighborhood. Attire will be dressy casual, and kids are welcome to join.
Friday October 13, 2017: The Big Day
The ceremony will be held at the Market at Grelen (15091 Yager Rd, Somerset, VA 22972) at 5pm with dinner and dancing to follow. Attire is semi-formal, and both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. Although we're unable to accommodate kids outside of the wedding party, we are happy to help source babysitters for those who need them.
The Market at Grelen is located about 30 minutes outside of Charlottesville. Shuttle service will be provided from downtown Charlottesville to the venue at 4pm with return trips around 9:30pm and 11pm. Check out the logistics tab to see pickup locations. There is also parking on site.
For those who don’t want the fun to end, the late night crowd can gather after the wedding in downtown Charlottesville at the Oakhart Social (511 W. Main St, Charlottesville, VA 22903).
Saturday October 14, 2017: Send-Off Barbecue
Well you’ve come all this way – you might as well stick around! We’ll be having a barbecue picnic at Pen Park from around 3pm to 6pm. There will be outdoor games, food, and great people... although we're still ironing out a few other details. Attire is casual, and kids are welcome to join.
